They're called Progressive Web Apps, and it's super easy to integrate to any existing website.

PWAs are basically the missing link between native apps and websites. You gain a ton of access to hardware features, push notifications, offline browsing, offline transactions (if you submit a database change, it can queue the change up for the next time you have internet access, and display the change in-app in the meantime), no URL bar, installed as an icon on your phone/tablet/Windows desktop/task bar, you can even list your web app in the Windows Store, and so much more. It's basically what web developers have been praying for, but it comes with the caveat of it being mainly spearheaded by Google, for better or worse.

Each pitch actually lasts about 1-2 hours and then gets edited down to like ten minutes, so it isn't actually 10 a day most days.
