My dad worked for the FAA in many different capacities over his lifetime and enjoyed it (he was not a controller).

He wanted me to apply when I was younger, but I was not interested.

But what does it mean?

First, THANK YOU for taking care of these animals. I found a stray German Shepherd mix and had to take her to the shelter. She ended up getting an URI while there. I asked them to call me if she was hitting the end of the line. I picked her back up on the 24th to foster because I couldn't let her die (she is a very sweet girl who just wanted some love). I don't know how you do this everyday. Where do you find the mental strength?

You are obviously a fighter and a very strong woman. You must be an inspiration to your child. What is the best advice you can give to other adult children whose parents may be diagnosed at some point?

Thank you for sharing your story. I just want to let you know that you are not alone on the gagging on certain textures. It has gotten a little better as I have gotten older, but there are still certain things that i can't eat. I'm a big fan of pasta myself, and often eat it the way you described. Good luck on the broadening your horizons, small steps are the key!
