I‘ve always wondered how exactly the payment process works for musicians who have their works up on these streaming platforms. Do you get paid per listen or how exactly does it work?

Also what helped me with this is using apps like Alarmy in which you can set different alarms that literally force you to get up (Recreating a picture, Scanning a barcode of something in a different room, etc.). After doing this for a few months I always manage to get up on time without fail and don‘t need the app anymore.
