Well if they were undercover, they wouldn't tell reporters would they? That would defeat the purpose of their undercover.

I see. Thank you for your answer. My concern is that people can join extremist groups online to STUDY them and investigate them and that's what police do, so I do not find that there should be a culpable correlation that police officers who join specific groups on facebook should be correlated to some kind of moral wrong.

I wonder if your findings collaborated your initial theories?
