What's the best improv tip you could offer for all of us here that wish we could be funny/witty on the fly?

On a scale of 1-10, how badly would you say the pain from recovery was? I'm looking at these photos and am wincing.

First off, congratulations on your accomplishments. I've heard a few of your interviews and you've always come off as sounding well informed and intelligent, and you singing along to the Mary Tyler Moore show theme song on Colbert was pretty hilarious.

On that note, how personally do you take Michelle Bachmann and her type's nonsensical witch hunt on Muslims, and how do you deal with this when I'm assuming there's a fair chance you have to work with them to try and accomplish other tasks?
