I personally run the calculations for profitability of a solar farm in Southern California.

• run it as a charity so no taxes
• kick back as the utility company pays you via net metering
• ask for donations as your a charity (act make it official and nice looking)
• slowly grow and maybe start paying yourself for your time

If I intended to start a wind farm with 1 “good / large” turbine what would be the cost? (Per kwh capacity)
