My nephew came to visit NY from AZ and we got milk shakes and lots of stuff, then went to eat at Mars 2112, another tourist theme restaurant in midtown. He says to me, I don't feel so good, so I take him to the bathroom, where he doesn't make it to a stall before he vomits more chocolate milkshake than I can imagine is possible for a child of that size. It's more than I can deal with, but there's a bathroom attendant! I make eye contact with him and I shrugged my shoulders, I think (I hope) I gave him a tip and then saw him cover the mess with a cardboard box. I washed my nephews face and we left the bathroom and the restaurant.

What's the proper protocol for dealing with errant child vomit?
