With advancements in technology I assume comes an increase in capabilities for the agency. How much of a hinderance is it with a parallel increase in adversary tech? Also, what was your must have piece of gear to bring with you on assignment overseas?

I know that defense tech drives commercial innovation to a large degree (DARPA) but is that the same for the espionage side?

The recent advancements in biotech is both remarkable and terrifying. If the Chinese government is willing to reveal that tech, I can only imagine what they have that they aren’t willing to show.
