I forgot to mention this in my last question but have been really curious:

Why did you move to New York to pursue acting rather than stay in your home state? Was there something specific about the NY film scene that spoke to you, as opposed to Los Angeles?

Simple question about your music taste that's been on my mind since I saw you play at Electric Zoo twice.

As a producer your style is chiller (and it goes without saying that you've made a lot of great and influential music), but when I've seen you play DJ sets you play a lot more bassheavy and varied tunes.

Are you into lots of types of electronic music (including the dubby stuff and dnb) or do you just play what you think the crowd will enjoy?

How did you end up on Nevermind the Buzzcocks? And was it as fun as it looked?

no that's actually kind of the answer I was expecting - at electric zoo 2010 i think (first year you played there, under the sun during the day) you dropped songs like herve's remix of under the sun (well-timed too!) and other bassy beats that varied and were very fun to dance to (while everyone else stuck to their own genres).

i figured you just had good taste for danceable music and was hoping you were playing things that you were into as well - glad to see that's the truth!

Do you think that what you do isn't so likely to make lasting change in the community because of budgetary or volunteer limitations that inhibit the PC or do you think there are hindrances within the PC that make it less efficient/long-term effective?
