Notice how he was tense and apprehensive when he thought that he was being recorded, but loosened up after? I think the same thing happens on the internet, when people are cognizant that the authorities or other malicious people could gain access to their personal information and communications. Free speech isn't free if people are too afraid to express it. It's a real problem, and I hope that progress will be made on the "Can you please not?" front.
