The problem of the big companies is that they want to make their players more than what they are supposed to be: simple media players. They add all sorts of crap to it.

That and their stupid games around software patents that require us to install extra codecs to their bloatware players.

Please don't make the media library a performance hog for people who don't want to use it. It sucks that so many players out there have gone that route. Make it optional or even a plugin.

Also any chance on using ProjectM for the visualisation?
