Airline pilot. What do we do that sucks? Anything we can do better to help you guys do your job?

Sometimes the checklist directs us to leave the flaps down- my airline says if we experience ice on the approach with the flaps down to leave them extended and inspected in case the tracks are frozen.

I fly the 757 and the 767 from ORD.

The unfortunate thing is each airplane PA system is a little bit different. And guys will use their headset mic or a handset mic or the PA phone- so you have different sources that all sound different.

But you’re not wrong. I’ve been a victim of sudden pee pee pants due to the PA volume.

Indeed. They said 2 weeks and it’s been 5 years.

That’s a tough one because we get busy doing our checklist and getting ready to push.
