I had my first open heart surgery to remove a blood clot in my left ventricle in Oct 2011 when I had just turned 24 then a second to remove another clot in Sept 2012 in the same location. I am on Coumadin for life due to an unknown clotting disorder that I have. Have your doctor's recommended Coumadin therapy for your condition even though your condition won't happen again?
