1. Was there ever a reason given God Emperor of Dune wasn't pursued after the success of Children of Dune? Was it ever even considered?

2. What are the odds of SyFy looking to older science fiction for new adaptions in the future, like a mini-series based on Foundation (God knows Roland Emmerich is not the right guy for the job)? Or something like a series with Elijah Baley and R. Daneel, which shouldn't require a large budget compared to more action heavy sci-fi (Asimov stories just being an example).

Oh, and the company I work for is doing the upcoming Joe Rogan show, so I just want to add that I'm excited to have my name appear on the Syfy channel, even if only for a split second in the credits! I sure hope it won't be the last time!

I know a CD release of Caprica is tied up at the moment, but what's the word on a release of Blood & Chrome?

Good morning Panos, thanks for taking the time to do this AMA. The Surface Pro 3 seems like a wonderful device and I'm heavily considering it as a laptop replacement, once my current laptop actually bites the dust.

When the Surface Pro 3 was revealed, it was compared to the MacBook air, and touted as the tablet that can replace your laptop. If that is the goal, why not include a type cover with the Surface this time around?

Many people I've talked to, including some Mac enthusiasts, agree that the SP3 looks like a great device, but the biggest drawback is that a separate keyboard needs to be purchased in order to use it as intended.
