UVC works through sterilization which means the virus isn't dead it just can't reproduce because UVC causes thymine and uracil dimers to form. This is like giant kinks in the DNA that prevent replication.

I used a uv sterilization device for drinking water when i traveled to India and it worked great but it required min 30 seconds of exposure to UVC light. No answers regarding how that is achieved or even confirmation of testing or effectiveness if they are trying not to reveal trade secrets.

3 seconds is still a long time to stall airflow. If you've solved that technical problem then some independent verification testing as proof would go a long way.
