If you came to see me as a patient, I would likely get an EKG first. I would then place you on a Holter monitor, which will continuously monitor your heart rhythm for 24-48 hours to try and capture those times tour heart rate increases. That would give very valuable information. If it showed that you had recurrent SVT, an ablation would be a good option.

Have you been worked up for abnormal heart rhythms. I’m a physician, and even though you went through what you went through, I would still rule everything else out like paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia (most likely), etc. I’m sure they have done these things. Also would probably get an echocardiogram on you.
