What is the general Irish view on other countries celebration of St. Patrick's Day? I know for America, and I'm sure other countries as well, St Patrick's Day is used to say "oh I've got Irish heritage, let's celebrate and go get drunk". From the sound of it, the day is more of a relaxed national holiday for you rather than a huge party day.
