Did you ever come up against anything like that?

I am a Pythonista to the core, but when it comes to writing net/appsec stuff (e.g. exploits, proof of concepts etc...) between metasploit and ronin I think ruby unfortunately has the lead here.

That's not to say that Python doesn't have its charms:

I'd just like to thank you for all the work you do to protect the freedom of the internet and other electronic frontiers.

Although I do not live in the USA, we are greatly affected by whatever the US wishes to do with the internet and it's easy for us to feel powerless against it. The freedom of the Internet is very important to me and my ability to conduct business.

When the first inkling of SOPA was seen on the horizon I was horrified and immediately became a gold EFF member with a decent donation and got a rocking tee shirt from you all the way over here in NZ.
