I want to clear up this comment, as I have heard it repeated before and I was listening the the conference call where Thomas Tippl (CFO OF ACTIVISION) supposedly said this.
What was said was that Activision was no longer interested in releasing standalone titles. This was said some time after they were talking about the financials of Stacraft. The supposition from numerous sources after the fact was that Activision was saying they were no longer interested in releasing games like Stacraft, but they were actually saying the opposite. They were pointing to strategy of releasing Starcraft2 as a planned trilogy rather than a standalone game where they may or may not do an expansion. The context was Activision pointing out that they are investing in whole IP worlds rather than just a single game.
I'm surprised to see this quote taken out of context so often; it's almost like people want to only believe negative news when it comes to Activision.

I know ESL owes a lot of its success to partnering with trade shows and such. Is there any chance that ESL will ever leave this comfort zone and start to produce its own eSports-only content?

From your perspective what was the worst decision you witnessed that was done for bs political reasons?

Now that would be a reality TV Show: Steve Austin Drives Anything.
