A lot of evidence shows that fibromyalgia is a brain based disease. The majority of studies find normal physiology in FM patients. Im not diminishing thier condition. Pain happens in the brain, and you can feel real, debilitating pain without any physical changes. I think providers get frustrated when a patient presents with a recurring complaint, but is normal upon examination.

My dad had a PFO that was discovered post stroke. He had it repaired and stopped having migraine headaches. His theory was that small bloodclots from the PFO were causing his headaches. Is there any evidence to support that?

I turned to homosexuality as a method of birth control and haven't had any issues with unwanted pregnancies.
