It's also nice sometimes just to have another human touch you. There isn't (read: there *shouldn't *) any sexual undertone in a massage, unless you're in a relationship with the person giving/receiving, and you aren't in a professional environment. It's nice being able to relax and have another person be the cause of that relaxation. You are letting somebody take care of you and pamper you and that's something everybody wants. On the flip side, as an esthetician in training, it's gratifying to know you helped somebody. Mentally, physically, spirituality... I've done some massages on a friend with CP and she always tells me it helps her feel better. I'm not a RMT but I do that I can with her and she says she feels better physically and mentally after. And there are some programs out there that give facials (and maybe manis) to the homeless women in our city. So many people come just to get another humans touch. I don't know If I'm describing this well enough.

I have a friend who had a reduction done and her doc said to stay away from vit e. She said something about it making the scars worse? Her doc had her use silicone tape on the scars and you can't even see the scars on her boobs now.
