I had the incredible opportunity to be a part of a procurement surgery once.
It was the single most impactful and humbling experience I've had in my life. There's a quiet seriousness and respectful peace during the organ surgery.

Well call it organ procurement.
It's hard to find a word that simultaneously preserves the humanity and sacrifice of the donor and allows the recipient to not be reminded every second that they are carrying another's heart.
