What would be the legal standing if a uniformed soldier, invading the US as a part of a war, gave birth on US soil? Would the child have citizenship automatically?

I volunteer in EMS and occasionally have to deal with people who's understanding of medicine is ... not necessarily connected with reality.

On one hand, I've never had anybody suggest wacky stuff for an obvious broken bone. At the same time, people will talk about things with dubious evidence when it comes to stuff like cancer or vaccines.

Do you have any idea what causes people to switch from medical thinking to Dr. Oz thinking? Is the type of condition? The type of person?

I volunteer in EMS in an unrelated location.

Most of the time you get to be envious of the flight crews. They usually get to spend their whole shift napping. But when you need a helicopter, you really need a helicopter. I'd much rather them spend their time napping so they can fly on-demand than not have them available when I need them.
