How tall were you at 10? I'm trying to imagine a 300 lb kid in my old fourth grade class, that's crazy. Doesn't just merely having all that extra weight put a lot of stress on (all of) your organs, but mainly your heart, no matter how healthy you eat?

After seeing my mom go through stage 4 vulvar & lung cancer, before it spread all over her body, I really hope if I'm ever in that kind of situation I'll be able to end it peacefully and with dignity. When she finally got into hospice she was around 60-70 pounds, had lost all mental faculty, was in constant pain if conscious (and had been at that point for about a year), with such gruesome effects from how the cancer had just totally ravaged her body, everywhere. She went in with them expecting her to only last hours to days at that point, but she ended up languishing like that for a further four months. No one should have to go through, or put their family through, what she was forced to. I don't consider that premature, but honestly, I'm so terrified of eventually ending up like her some day that, if there's no option for PA suicide by then, I might end up actually ending it prematurely -- while I still have the ability to, before I get so bad I'm stuck like she was.
