What are your thoughts on today's cancel culture?

Is this situation similar to the new netflix movie I care a lot? I haven't hated a fictional character this much since Joffrey from GoT.

Thank you for your response! I am in agreement with you. While some of the people cancelled was justified, it seems like we are set out to cancel someone for just about anything. One conspiracy theory that I cant shake is the thought that the govt is escalating these "race wars" on purpose because it is easier to keep the American people divided thus easier to control. We'll never be able to come to understand, learn, and grow if we cannot meet in the middle for civilized conversation.

Well considering cancel culture today is against racists mostly, and given his background im thinking he has more thoughts on it than "not a fan." I think this problem isn't so black and white.
