This is one of three reasons why I am a vegetarian. The other is that I think farming subsidies distort the free market as the biggest chunk goes toward feed. The third is that factory farming seems unsanitary.

I am a veggie solely for political reasons (and gross out). I don't really care about animals that much (I mean, I fucking love my dog), but there are a lot of issues with the production of meat (and dairy) in the US.

I honestly would like to get over my ick feelings and use bugs as a source of protein, as it's very environmentally friendly and none of the above issues apply. But I'm a westerner and haven't gotten there yet.

Not necessarily... My mom was on about three juries when she worked at a corporate banking job she hated. This is in a major metropolitan area, but the two times she was the foreman, the jury colluded to make the trial take as long as possible because everyone on it hated their jobs and wanted to avoid going back to work for as long as possible.

If you had a child and he/she was born with dwarfism, would you push for them to have the same surgery you did?

What is the movie you would love to make that could never (for budgetary/audience/the physics of human perception reasons) be made?
