Can you expand on this? What sort of cleaning/disinfecting do you have to do for clients? Do you have any recommended guides for cleaning toys, restraints, rope, etc?

Gotcha. Specific questions it is:

  • Ropes: Do you just throw them in the washing machine? Or hand washing? With my partner, we're never really sure when to wash stuff or how, so a lot of rope gets thrown out that probably could be cleaned.
  • Also, cotton ropes, not hemp? Or are those the same?
  • Electric toys: We recently got a cordless Magic Wand. The head of the machine needs to be cleaned, but the body is not water-safe. Would rubbing the head of the toy with toy cleaner be enough for partners? (We haven't used the toy with others, and we've both been tested, so we're clean).

I apologize if these are stupid questions, but these are sorts of questions that don't get answered in detail very often.
