I have always been troubled with the concept of zoos. On one side is the simple thought of "these animals should be in the wild". The other being " they are helping these animals". What are your thoughts on this?

when i travel i always try to check if there's a zoo nearby. 1, the opportunity to see these majestic beasts. 2, to support the zoo in their projects to breed or sustain the animals. but yeah, i also feel guilty in doing so 😓
