Thanks, I needed to hear that. My Mom is in the early stages of chemo for triple zero breast cancer, and I'm noticing I'm having a hard time talking to her about anything else because it's just so all consuming. It might be because it's still early in the process for us, too. I'm crossing my fingers that the anecdotes are right and Phase 2 of her treatment will be much less severe for her, because Phase 1 has really been kicking her butt and making her far more depressed than I've ever seen her. Hopefully just 3 more weeks and she'll be past this phase with the harder hitting meds.

Yeah, I feel like I'm starting to get to that point at least. I think and hope she will too by the end of November. Gotta enjoy the time we have with them while we can, right?

Not to get completely off track, but I'd love to hear your thoughts about the partial shutdown and how you think it might (or might not) change the conversation.
