What do you think about the decline in popularity of SC2?

Really appreciate your comments! So I have some questions:

1. What, if any, essay stuck with you the most? Or have you seen any funny/interesting gimmick essays?

2. What is the biggest turn-off in an application?

3. In your opinion, what is the percentage of applicants that show real effort in their essays?

4. Do you guys check for plagiarism, and what do you do if you find someone's essay on some website?

5. Are official score reports just to confirm the authenticity of the test scores you put in the application?

6. How important are first semester of senior grades? Or is that mainly for people on the borderline?

7. How bad would a student have to do to get their acceptance rescinded? Ex. would a an average full grade drop among all subject during the last semester be enough? haha

8. Do you look at SAT's just to make sure an applicant is somewhere in a good range? Does, say, a 50 point difference on the SAT make a real difference?

9. Would an essay about a fatal bus accident and how that made me cherish life be too cliche?

10. Any interesting stories?
