How dissimilar is Abed from your normal life? Does having a character so "out there" make it easier to get fully involved in the role?

In the community subreddit, the mods like to have fun and attach custom tags to a bunch of usernames. I think they saw your obvious love of glee and decided to ensure everyone else saw it, by attaching it to your username.

Is there any truth to this, or is it just accepted associations from what you've learned those colors represent? I ask, as I'm color blind, and I often have this "describe a color" conversation with others.

Another alternative would just be voice communication without video? I don't know how desirable such a service would be, but I definitely think it, too, could add value.
