Now, my question: Carrie, you said in an e-mail to NPR that in order to write the new album you went back to an earlier mode of song-writing to ‘reacquaint yourselves with the language of the band’ while at the same time being extraordinarily meticulous about melody to the point where you drove Corin crazy a couple of times. How has that played into rehearsing songs from previous albums for the upcoming tour? Are you just blasting through them in practice, or has it been trickier than that?
