What are your thoughts on how newspaper frontpages should read the morning of November 4 in the event that no winner is declared by the time they go to print?

How do you communicate that one person is in the lead, if one is, without leaving readers with the impression that they won?

How do you report if one side declares victory if the outlet itself is not prepared to call it?

I loved the movie and the more time passes and the more I think about it, the more I like it and more I respect what you all put together. I cannot imagine what it would have been like to be part of that process and in fact to grow up as part of it.

Three questions:

1) My understanding is that the movie was written in segments, for each year; rather than being plotted from the get-go. My question is was the movie edited in segments or edited altogether after filming was done? When year 1 was edited, in other words, did the team already know what happens in year 2-12?

2) When preparing later years, did you go back and watch/read the earlier years to prepare or were you working off memory of what had occurred?

3) I envision conversations you had with other kids in school 5-10 years ago, something like: "I'm in a movie with Ethan Hawk!" "Cool, when does it come out?" "...uh... 2014." What was it like waiting for this to come out?

Do you think excessive weight cutting is a problem in MMA? If so, what could/should be done about it?

What if Trump wins FL/AZ/NC and is winning marginally in the rust belt states but those are too close to call in the opinion of USToday. And he gives a victory speech while Biden says every vote should be counted.

What's the story? Does a responsible paper run a big picture of a victorious Trump and somber Biden? Does the paper run "Trump declares victory and leads, but race too close to call!" above those photos? What's the responsible lede in that scenario?

1) Why now?

2) In recent elections, legalization has been treated as somewhat of a joke or afterthought by candidates, and been ignored in serious debates. What should the candidates for President in 2016 say about this issue? If the NYT moderated a 90 minute debate, would this issue warrant a question to the candidates?

3) In retrospect, how does the New York Times Editorial Board feel about David Brooks' January 2014 Op-Ed accusing Colorado of "nurturing a moral ecology in which it is a bit harder to be the sort of person most of us want to be"?
