Most beginner's recommendations start with keeping a dream journal. Is there any way to get to lucid dreaming if you don't remember your dreams at all?

Can you recommend good movies about lucid dreaming?

I vaguely remember seeing one with someone obsessed with a woman in a dream trying to control the dream to talk to her, but I've no idea what it was called. I'd love to see it again though.
