Hi, I’m a zoology student too, and one of the things that made me uneasy in the show was how when they were describing how little doc and joes employees were paid and their longs hours I thought it was fucked up ‘bc they were totally brainwashed right??’ then they go on to describe how at BCR everyone was volunteering and also working crazy hours-which is something I’d totally do to spend time with animals I love! How do you wrap your head around the double standard?
