A friend of ours works with him, and freddie was on his talk show. World's collided. Requests were made. Hands were shaken. Cameos were given.

Freddie yelled at me for this one word answer.

We will let you know when we figure it out.

RIght now the answer is pretty simple - ads don't give crazy revenue. its good for a vlogger, or a person doing small videos. But it cannot sustain productions like VGHS. Not close.

You essentially have to find brands or partnerships to fund it ahead of time. So you are essentially in the black when you start. And you have to start getting creative with other revenue streams. We haven't been the best at merch, but we are trying.

Especially when you consider we live in a world where "content" is more and more becoming a free commodity. There is just so much of it out there for free.

It was the fastest thing I have ever shot (took like 3 minutes).

He came in. Owned the room. Learned his line in a second. Asked for direction. Made jokes and jabs in a friendly way. Was sharper than everyone 70 years younger than him, and then walked off like a gentleman. It was a great, but too short, pleasure. A highlight.

Its interesting, and not unexpected. We knew Fan Friction would make insecure tweens and frankly... homophobes uncomfortable (and not at all saying everyone who didnt like the short are either of those). We originally had the short come out as like... episode 6. But we said, screw it. Lets put it up top.

I think I sort of had a breakthrough on youtube criticism. Someone said they didnt like the Fan Friction video cause it was like their Rock and Roll Pandora station playing Jazz.

And I understood it. I get where they are coming from. But we aren't your pandora station. We are (pretentious word coming) artists. And we are doing what we love and trying to express ourselves. And we change over time and we want to challenge ourselves.

Frankly, it excites me certain people are wondering what happened to our old stuff. Cause it means we are evolving. And if you were to ask me what the biggest issue with youtube and online creators are. Almost none of them change. The positive feedback loop and ad-revenue based world makes everyone continue to do the same shit over and over again.

Over the past 6 years we have done a lot. And not all of it has been successful or good. But we are constantly trying to do new things.
