Oh man, I haven't been this excited to respond to an AMA in a long time and of course, I'm all out of questions due to my excitement.

Charlie, thank you for bringing forth HONEST reporting. It is a breath of fresh air in a world that is so worried about their image. To be honest, I haven't picked up a copy of your book yet though it is on my Amazon wishlist. As soon as the funds allow it, it is the first 'extra' purchase I am making.

My question to you is - What do you think Detroit needs to do better or stop doing to rise up to the city that it used to be? Or will it always be a shadow of its former self?

Thanks for you reply! I'm Canadian but I've visited Detroit (Favorite hockey team are the red wings, to be fair). I tell everyone this and yet no one believes me - I think Detroit is beautiful. Yes, there are 'bad parts' as most cities do and maybe they're more rampant in Detroit but the people are the greatest, so friendly yet hard, strong. I honestly think it is such a rich city. I hope we see the change it needs to become a safe place. The people deserve it.

You've filled my life with a lot of happiness. From playing your music on iPods to seeing a few of your live performances, I have very great memories attached to your music. Thank you so much for that!
