Hi. Thanks for doing this AMA.

I grew up in the Caribbean and some folklore said that sharks don't urinate in the wild thus making their bodies decompose very quickly after death and humans shouldn't consume their flesh. Is this based on any truth?

Extended thumb in the eye or gills would be better option in my opinion.

The 3 R's : Reduce, reuse, recycle.

Be conscious of what disposable products you use that have long decomposition life times (plastics). These may end up in the ocean and float around for hundreds of years being detrimental to marine life.

For me, (I know I'm not the host) would be the cookie cutter shark. Never actually seen one, but have seen the odd circular bites in larger cetaceans from these little sharks.
