So i rescued a baby magpie 2 years ago, and she is incredible with learning songs that i can whistle. I started with some of the ocarina songs from ocarina of time and have started moving onto more complex stuff like super mario, beethoven and the ship to shore theme. Trying to teach her harry potter atm.

She cant warble to other magpies though, as she doesnt know warble, she only knows my sounds. And sirens. She makes a good ambulance or police car.

Ive been meaning to take one of that, soon.

Having looked at your photos, what particular sub species of magpie is this? She is completely different to those we get in South Aus, which is what my own Swoop is.
