Long imprisonment lines? Like you have people who are sentenced but there is not enough room in the prison system? Are they under probation during that time or what?

Here in the USA we tend to just cram them in.

In America you might get a 160 year sentence but get out in 70.

I was on the academic job market last year with a PhD in engineering from the University of Illinois (#2 ranked grad program, I believe). I didn't get a single interview. The struggle is real.
