I hate to be pedantic, but China isn't "propping up" the regime, that implies it's supporting and possibly participating in the regime's activities (think Russia propping up Assad to save his regime from collapse). They are providing aid and serving as mitigators, to avoid potential humanitarian crises, yes, but I wouldn't go so far as to say "prop up".
Also, refugees are people who have been registered and officially assigned refugee status. North Koreans fleeing to China would be asylum seekers.
Finally, China would not outright invade North Korea. It simply is not in its military thought and doctrine (which stresses defensive, localized military conflict against superior forces). At most, it would send peacekeeprs and additional PAP units to the borderlands, but an invasion to simply create a buffer zone is something not seen since the days of competing imperial powers.
Now the DMZ though, that could very well be a shitshow.

What types of non-American groups and military units have trained under you? Do you have to sign NDAs when training specific units? What was the most intense and/or frustrating moment in your training history? Thanks!
