What about slavery right here in the united states, in the form of for profit incarceration for non violent offenses? This needs to end.

21 years is a long time in prison. Someone dear to me just spent 7 years behind the walls and is having a tough time readjusting to being free in society because of the mental conditioning that comes with trying to survive in prison.

Have you been able to disengage from the "convict" mindset/stigma?
