Get checked out by a maxillofacial surgeon. A lot of sleep apnea patients have airways that are too small, a mandibular maxillary advancement adresses this.

How often and to which extent do you explore medical causes for anxiety and other mood disorders?
As a psychologist in training and someone who has had a past experience with severe depression and anxiety that all were driven by an underlying medical condition (histamine intolerance & mastcell disorder) I went years without getting better because every mental health professional I saw never investigated any medical causes despite there being significant evidence on histamine being implicated in several mood disorders and there being other causes such as thyroid that can cause these symptoms. Once I tackled my medical issues, all the psychological problems went away. I find that now in my studies, we do not get enough education on the significance of the impact of medical issues on psychological well being.

My dad was doing dialysis at a clinic for many years before passing away. He would always tell me how tiring it was for him and how a lot of dialysis patients get depressed. Is that something you would confirm and do you feel that doing your dialysis at home is less tiring? Do you do it while you sleep, and if not, why not?
