Hi Dr. Tegmark - What do you make of the contention that a theory that predicts multiple universes effectively loses its explanatory power since it: 1. predicts nothing, since everything can happen; 2. relies on unseen and impossible-to-ever-detect alternative universes. If a theory emerged that could explain our universe without relying on unseen additional universes, wouldn't that be more ideal?
