After living in Detroit when his wife was on the city council and arrested soon after for all sorts of corruption, I find it impossible to believe he's an honest man--by association of choice (look who he chose to marry) or disbelief of his feigned ignorance (your also-a-politician wife just happened to be doing corrupt things while you are an honest and upright citizen?).

Dr. Peterson, what would you recommend for pursuing an academic career in the social sciences in the current climate of academia? Personally, I would like to make an impact in the field of anthropology as it relates to our understanding of entrepreneurship—a vocation more common among men than women and adjacent to a culture steeped in opposition to “offensive” ideas. Rather than chasing after the most prestigious institution, what might I look for in an advisor or institution where I can pursue research without socially imposed bias and some semblance of political neutrality?
