Costco has a pretty accurate inventory system. If there's none on display and the computer reads some low number that no self-respecting stocker will waste steel space for, there's no need to check. Finding it in the steel, or worse in receiving, is annoying. I used to work the floor during business hours occasionally and would end helping people find stuff all day (front-end people can't find shit).
