Can Marxism exist peacefully with Christianity and other religions and vice versa? How can we possibly convince religious people that Marxism is a good idea when so many I know associate it with persecution?

Yeah, technically, one could argue the people in Acts 4 - the same ones who founded the Christian church - were also communists. I guess the capitalists in the Southern US have worked really hard to turn religious people against Marxism, and it seems like it's worked really well.
