I have watched that movie so many times in a row, with and without your excellent audio commentary. That is a movie that I cannot make me bored, no matter how many times I see it. It's beautiful and fascinating and terrifying. It's also got one of the best scripts I've ever seen in a film. Simple, and effective.

Interestingly, it was the first beer I ever drank. I was in Mexico, and, as I had turned 18 recently, I figured I'd get my first legal drink. I had 2 options there, and one of those was Dos Equis, and as I was a fan of the ads, I went with that one. I quite enjoyed it.

That is one beautiful car. Bond films set me up on a lifelong love of Aston Martin's.

I'm currently listening to the Martian audiobook, and it's mentioned that the Hermes uses ion engines, accelerating the whole trip there. I remember reading about them in Pop Sci a few years ago. Do you think this is probably the most likely engine tech that get people to Mars?
