Have you watched The Daily Show with Trevor Noah lately? I feel like he's made Larry Wilmore and The Nightly Show redundant at this point because every episode is now as race-centric as The Nightly Show is. Everything they report on can somehow lead back to Trevor Noah's experience as a mixed race child in Apartheid South Africa. Everything is now a joke about racial disparity.

He hardly has any authors on, almost no politicians or high level bureaucrats, even the star power of people promoting their projects has fallen off significantly.

As a white guy I feel squidgy saying "hey can we ease off the 'everything is racist' stories for a bit and get back to the gender-race-sexual orientation-religion-neutral tomfuckery of America...? I realize racism is a huge issue but John Oliver is only on once a week and I'm starting to feel like the important shit Jon Stewart brought to the attention of the country (in addition to his vigorous coverage of racial issues) is not being taken care of...

I gotta check out Samantha Bee's new show but if her show is just a half an hour of "women are being marginalized" instead of the broad coverage Stewart used to (and Oliver still does) give us I think I'm going to have to start looking for a new daily news show.

Noah and Wilmore aren't getting it done.

I bet he can't wait for the episode where they go to the dimension where Rick and Morty are actually Erica and Morticia. 22 minutes of hot grandma burping action.

Actually an episode where they encounter a female Rick sounds incredible. I bet she's smarter and more evil than regular Rick.

Some folks like your parents hosted us for the day 20+ years ago during the Gulf War. Gave us infantry a day of barbecue and clean clothes (I think our BDU's wrecked their washing machine with months of sand and poor washing on them). It was damn nice.

I have to admit though the whole "living on a compound" thing gave me the creeps.
