It's not your fault you didn't know, Jim was likely a "functional alcoholic" and probably hid it very well from his friends and coworkers.

Dude, my comment was completely sarcastic. I don't think Morrison tried to hide it from anyone, and I'm pretty sure he was probably not too functional at times. As for their being "no justice" in your case, what could be worse that dying? Would you have liked to have seen him sent to Guantanamo or something?
